| Below you will find a table which shows the most common cable diameters used on various animals. Although not complete, this table should give you a good idea of what cable size to use for the animal(s) you intend to snare. This chart was developed from both personal experience and other trapper's recommendations. Everyone will experience different situations. What doesn't work for some might work for others.
